


As a CURA Strategies PR intern, I encountered a unique challenge working with our client Mended Little Hearts. As a sister company of Mended Hearts, I seamlessly integrated into the smaller client team and was tasked with a specific focus on enhancing their social media efforts. This required a nuanced and empathetic approach, as crafting social media content demanded a deep understanding of the delicate nature of congenital heart defects (CHD). My role involved balancing collaboration with the client team and the creative department to refresh the media strategy, with a keen emphasis on maintaining sensitivity and resonating with the target audience. The ultimate goal was to foster a sense of encouragement and support among CHD families, while simultaneously amplifying awareness and positioning Mended Little Hearts as a strong advocate for CHD awareness within the broader conversation.
In navigating this challenge, I proactively pitched and drafted promotional videos for a campaign in collaboration with Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, I also highlighted and executed client campaigns, fostering collaboration with esteemed companies like Kendra Scott. This involved working closely with the client team and creative department to craft emotionally resonant social media graphics, as well as personally adjusting captions, ensuring messages of hope and support effectively reached the target audience.
